This beautiful large chalet style cuckoo clock by August Schwer was awarded the most beautiful cuckoo clock of 2004 by the Black Forest Clock Association (VDS). This masterpiece has alot of detail, apart from the 4 oompah band musicians and dancers that swing and move when the music plays on the hour, It has a pony and cart on one side and a dog, a cat, a baby fawn. The farmers wife in traditional Black Forest dress pulls the rope ringing the bell tower as the cuckoo strikes the hour and half hour. The roof is covered with hand laid shingles.
